Polycrystalline diamond cutting tool design


PCD cutting tool geometry parameters depend on the workpiece position, tool materials and  Diamond blade  and other specific processing conditions. Since PCD tool used for finishing the workpiece, the cutting thickness is small (and sometimes equal to the radius of the tool cutting edge), are micro-cutting, so flank face angle and the subsequent processing quality had a significant effect, the smaller the back angle, higher flank PCD tool for improving the quality of the processing quality can play an important role.
