Different components of the grinding wheel

According to material to be cut, it may need to use a grinding wheel with different ingredients. But also by the choice of grinding wheel material hardness and toughness. Split ceramic or carbide materials should be chosen from metal or phenolic adhesive bonded  polycrystalline diamond  discs. Bakelite adhesive bonding using alumina grinding wheel is a typical cutting ferrous materials selection. CBN is also  grinding wheel  used in higher hardness of ferrous materials cutting. Non-ferrous metal cutting should be selected by the phenolic adhesive bonding of silicon carbide grinding wheel.
