Experimental and theoretical analysis, obtained polycrystalline diamond material removal mechanism

Polycrystalline Diamond Compact polycrystalline diamond layer was studied by experiments and theoretical analysis, obtained polycrystalline diamond material removal mechanism, analyze the grinding  synthetic diamond  and characteristics of the grinding wheel impact, and seek the grinding force formula. In this paper, high precision  grinding wheel  machine for grinding PCD experiments, analysis of grinding parameters (wheel speed,  cutting tools , the workpiece feed rate) and abrasive characteristics (binder type and grit size) and so on poly polycrystalline diamond grinding force, grinding force component ratio, specific grinding energy and grinding surface roughness were investigated. Obtained by the wheel speed, the grinding depth and workpiece feed speed and the grinding force relationship.
